Position QA Manager

Location Bridgwater, Somerset

Duration Permanent

Hours Approx 45hrs/week + Overtime

Salary £65-70,000 per annum including site bonus + expenses + overtime

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for a QA Manager for a permanent position on behalf of our client, to support a major power station construction project in Somerset. The role will involve:

• managing all aspects of quality, including supervising quality personnel
• overseeing the preparation and implementation of the project quality plan, ITPs processes and procedures
• ensuring welding is compliant with the requirements of ISO 3834-2
• acting as primary liaison to client on all quality related issues
• being responsible for ensuring sufficient training is conducted for project personnel on the company quality management system and project specific procedures.
• leading the company nuclear safety culture within the project, promote the company core values and engage in the efficient development of project documentation and ensure timely completions.

Requirements

HNC/HND, CSWIP 3.2 or Equivalent Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing

IOSH Leading Safety preferred or alternative

Lead Auditor Accredited

5 years previous relative experience within the Oil, Gas, Power or Nuclear Industry

Must be eligible to work in the U.K and subject to acceptance/ approval of the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) Application and DBS Security Clearance (Disclosure & Barring Service Check)

Excellent communication, teamwork, problem solving and organisation skills
