Steritec Products Inc., a member of the Getinge Group, manufactures sterilization and cleaning medical device consumables using ink technology. We manufacture and print highly specialized proprietary inks that undergo specific color changes when exposed to different sterilization conditions in hospital and industrial/pharmaceutical sterilizers.

This QA Laboratory Technician position is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt position. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (with some flexibility).

Job Function Summary:

Responsible for testing and evaluating chemical indicators and related products to ensure compliance with established specifications and performance standards. Operates sterilization and laboratory equipment, analyzes test data, maintains accurate records, and supports quality assurance activities within an FDA- and ISO-regulated environment.

Job Functions:
• Conduct in-process and final product performance testing of Steritec Products .
• Operate sterilization and laboratory equipment and other inspection equipment according to approved procedures.
• Accurately document test results and maintain quality records using good documentation practices.
• Manage product retains, control samples, and test samples.
• Verify product labels, lot information, and indicator graphics for accuracy.
• Collect, analyze, and record data for shelf-life studies and other quality programs.
• Complete Performance Releases and Finished Goods Releases for WIP and completed product.
• Review Device History Records for accuracy and precision.
• Perform Quality Testing and Inspections for incoming and production areas as assigned.
• Support additional quality assurance activities as assigned.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Normal color vision required

Minimum Requirements:
• Associate's degree in a science-related field preferred; or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience in a laboratory, quality, or regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO-regulated environments preferred.

Quality Requirements
• Adhere to all applicable FDA, ISO, Quality, and Regulatory requirements.
• Complete required Quality and Compliance training.
• Follow established procedures and report quality or compliance concerns promptly.
• Support and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Additional activities assigned by manager to support quality and production initiatives.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
• Primarily laboratory and office-based environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
• Regular use of computers and laboratory equipment.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, depth, peripheral, and color vision.
• May be required to work extended hours during peak business periods

Internal and External Contacts/Relationships:

• Internal: Team members, all Getinge colleagues including the executive and leadership team, Operations, Quality, and R&D teams. Follow up with all levels of management for clarification/approval on reports as needed.
