Responsibilities:
Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specificationcompliance
Audit production and packaging for accuracy inshapes,specifications,storage, packaging,labelingand coding
Identifyand manage non-conforming productsand food safetyhazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
Maintain records,documentation, andretention samples
Proactivelyidentifyand execute on continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Experience with Microsoft Officeapplications(Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’sdegree in food relatedfield(Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
Experience in quality assurance testing
