This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Funcional - Senior in Brazil.

This role is perfect for an analytical and detail-oriented QA professional with experience validating mobile and web applications in complex, multi-module projects. You will take ownership of testing activities across the full development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality releases and smooth integrations. Using BDD (Gherkin) and structured test management tools, you will design, execute, and monitor functional, regression, and exploratory tests. This position offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to release planning, and help define quality standards while operating in a dynamic, agile environment.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Functional QA, you will:

• Plan, document, and execute functional tests across mobile and web applications.
• Design structured test scenarios using BDD (Gherkin) for clarity and reproducibility.
• Manage test cases, executions, and evidence in Testmo.
• Validate end-to-end workflows, including frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Conduct regression and exploratory testing to ensure product stability.
• Review acceptance criteria with product teams and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Report, document, and track defects until resolution.
• Participate in agile rituals, release planning, and technical refinement sessions.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a solid background in QA, testing methodologies, and agile environments:

• Strong experience with BDD (Gherkin) and structured scenario writing (Given / When / Then).
• Experience managing tests with Testmo.
• Functional, regression, and exploratory testing expertise.
• Experience testing mobile applications (React Native) and web applications (React).
• Knowledge validating workflows such as login/authentication, push notifications, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and basic log analysis.
• Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Kanbanize) and structured documentation (e.g., SharePoint).
• Ability to organize test evidence and work effectively in distributed teams.
• Knowledge of version control, release tracking, and multi-module projects.

Differential Skills:

• Experience with automated testing (basic knowledge of Jest / React Native Testing Library).
• Familiarity with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Background in retail or e-commerce projects.
• Understanding of modular or multi-module architecture.
