Job Description

Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a QA Engineer that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing product organization as we build our future of Digital Portals Experience. This is an opportunity to join a cross-functional feature team within a structure inspired by Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS).

In this role, you'll work hands-on to ensure quality is built in, not bolted on, focusing on test automation and lightweight frameworks that teams can share. LeSS emphasizes shared responsibility for outcomes across teams, so you won't be a traditional "gatekeeper"—instead, you'll help developers and designers think test-first, establish good practices together, and shape the patterns that allow quality to scale without silos.

Joining a growing team, you'll have the opportunity to influence foundational decisions for quality culture, tooling, and collaboration, while staying deeply engaged in delivery work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (API and UI) using modern frameworks (Playwright, Cypress)

  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous delivery and rapid feedback

  • Perform exploratory testing on critical flows to complement automation and improve coverage

  • Pair with developers and contribute to a team-owned approach to quality, aligned with LeSS principles

  • Define and refine lightweight, reusable testing standards for future multi-team adoption

  • Monitor quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities across product increments

  • Serve as a quality advocate and coach within the team, ensuring sustainable delivery practices

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of automated testing strategies (unit-integration-E2E)

  • Ability to design and maintain modular, scalable test architecture

  • Strong communication skills to influence and coach developers on quality practices

  • Comfort working in early-stage, evolving environments, applying LeSS values like transparency and collaboration

  • Growth mindset—interested in building quality culture while staying hands-on

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills[

NICE TO HAVE Requirements

  • Performance or security testing experience

  • Understanding of observability and quality metrics at system level

  • Prior experience in organizations adopting LeSS or similar scaled Agile frameworks

  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS toolchain, containers)

  • Ability to support quality community-building initiatives as teams expand

Experience

  • 5+ years in QA/Quality Engineering, focused on automation for modern web and API-based systems

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks (UI and API)

  • Strong scripting ability in JavaScript/TypeScript

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases like PostgreSQL[GB2.1]

  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines within containerized (AWS, Docker) setups

  • Experience using AI-driven tools (e.g., test case generation, intelligent defect analysis) or applying AI techniques to optimize testing and quality control

  • Previous exposure to Agile environments using product-oriented teams; experience in multi-team settings is a plus
