We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer (2–4 years of experience) to support software quality assurance activities across our AI-based healthcare platform and products.

This role will focus on supporting product quality through manual testing, API validation, regression testing, bug tracking, release verification, and collaboration with engineering, QA, RA, and product teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced software development environment. This role is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow in software quality engineering while gaining exposure to healthcare software, compliance-related workflows, and AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

  • Perform manual, functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for web-based applications and software platforms
  • Execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans across product releases
  • Conduct UI testing to validate workflows, usability, and frontend behavior
  • Perform smoke testing and release verification before production deployment
  • Verify bug fixes and validate software stability across releases

API / Backend Validation

  • Validate backend APIs and service integrations using tools such as Postman or equivalent
  • Support backend data verification and basic database validation using SQL or related tools
  • Assist in validating data consistency between frontend and backend systems

Bug Tracking & Quality Support

  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar issue management tools
  • Support root cause investigation by working closely with developers and senior QA engineers
  • Assist in regression coverage and validation tasks during product updates
  • Participate in exploratory testing and ad-hoc issue verification

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with QA, Development, Product, and RA teams to support product quality improvements
  • Participate in release readiness and quality verification activities
  • Support QA documentation and traceability tasks such as:
    • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
    • Test evidence collection
    • Requirement verification support
    • Validation traceability support
    • V&V (Verification & Validation) collaboration

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to QA process improvement initiatives
  • Support automation-related testing efforts by collaborating with automation QA engineers
  • Learn and adopt best practices in software quality, AI-assisted testing, and healthcare product validation

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in Software QA / Quality Assurance / Test Engineering
  • Experience testing web-based applications, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software products
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Functional Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • UI Testing
    • API Testing
    • Exploratory Testing
    • Basic Integration Testing
    • Basic Database Validation

Familiarity with tools such as:

  • JIRA
  • Postman
  • Git
  • SQL
  • Browser DevTools

Required Skills

  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA fundamentals
  • Ability to reproduce issues and clearly document bugs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Good English and Korean communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to adapt in changing testing priorities and fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare software, SaaS, or regulated software environments
  • Exposure to API debugging, backend validation, or database verification
  • Familiarity with QA documentation such as:
    • RTM
    • Test protocols
    • Validation evidence
    • Requirement traceability
    • V&V support documents
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Exposure to automation testing (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of AI-based products or AI-assisted testing is a plus
  • ISTQB / CSTS certification is preferred
  • Experience supporting release verification or production validation is a plus
