Your Role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Capgemini, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through functional testing within Agile environments

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, execute test cases, manage defects, and contribute to the overall quality strategy. This role requires a solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), strong attention to detail, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Scope

  • Design, develop, and execute functional test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Follow and apply Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring proper documentation and resolution follow-up.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to maintain application stability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support test documentation, reporting, and traceability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
  • (Desirable) Support or collaborate in test automation initiatives where applicable.

Your Profile

  • Detail-oriented and quality-driven – Ensures accuracy and completeness in testing activities.
  • Strong STLC knowledge – Understands testing processes, methodologies, and defect management deeply.
  • Analytical mindset – Able to identify issues, root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Effective communicator – Clearly interacts with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative – Works effectively within Agile teams and cross-functional environments.
  • Adaptable – Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Functional Testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred).
  • Prior experience in the Service or Hospitality domain (preferred).
  • Exposure to test automation tools (desirable).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
