Your Role

As part of our development
SCRUM team, you will take ownership of designing and implementing our automated
integration testing landscape. You will shape the foundation of quality across
our products by setting standards, building reusable components, and ensuring
testing excellence in every release.

What You Will Do

  • Design
    and build a robust, scalable automated integration testing
    environment.
  • Standardize
    and enhance QA processes across teams, ensuring consistent and
    efficient quality practices.
  • Develop
    reusable testing components that integrate seamlessly
    across our application landscape.
  • Act as
    a test evangelist, driving adoption of best practices, tools, and
    processes that elevate product quality.
  • Lead
    quality assurance efforts across both agile and classic
    process models - from reviewing requirements and designing tests to
    planning and execution.
  • Collaborate
    closely with development teams, collecting and aligning on
    integration test requirements across projects.
  • You
    combine strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a keen
    understanding of customer needs.
  • You are
    experienced in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript, familiar with common
    pitfalls, and know how to catch them early through automated testing.
  • You
    have hands-on experience with acceptance testing tools such as Playwright,
    Cypress, or Selenium.
  • You
    bring solid experience in system testing - using Postman for
    manual API tests and REST Assured with JUnit for automated ones.
  • You
    have several years of development experience, with a strong focus
    on automated integration testing and test strategy design (TDD, BDD, risk-based testing).
  • Ideally,
    you also have experience creating load test scenarios using JMeter and are familiar with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • You
    enjoy working with containers and messaging systems like Kafka,
    and you’re eager to design automated test scenarios across a complex,
    distributed application landscape.
  • You
    have practical experience in test case management and documentation,
    using tools such as Zephyr to ensure full test coverage.
  • You
    have hands-on experience with system monitoring and observability,
    using tools such as Grafana and Instana to analyze
    performance metrics and detect issues early.
  • You
    speak English fluently and have an good command in German in a business
    context.
