QA Engineer – Connected TV & Mobile Applications Noor Staffing | Remote – Bangladesh Compensation: Up to $2,000/month USD

About the Opportunity

Noor Staffing is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, profitable video technology company powering the next generation of interactive streaming experiences across web, mobile, and Connected TV platforms. Our client works with category-leading brands in sports, media, and entertainment to deliver cutting-edge direct-to-consumer video products — and they're growing their QA team.

What You'll Do

• Execute manual and exploratory testing for CTV and mobile applications, validating functionality, performance, and UI/UX consistency across devices
• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and feature testing
• Support the development and maintenance of automation scripts using tools such as Appium, WebDriverIO, or similar frameworks
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure requirements are clear and edge cases are identified early
• Track, log, and verify defects using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication around impact and priority
• Participate in sprint planning and release reviews, providing QA input throughout the test cycle
• Validate builds across multiple platforms and OS versions, confirming release readiness
• Assist in maintaining device labs and organizing test environments for CTV and mobile testing
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and automation coverage expansion

What You Bring

• 3–6 years of QA experience in software testing, preferably in media streaming, CTV, or mobile app environments
• Hands-on experience testing CTV platforms (Roku, tvOS, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, etc.) and mobile (iOS/Android)
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, regression testing, and Agile workflows
• Basic experience or familiarity with test automation tools such as Appium, WebDriverIO, or Playwright
• Working knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot performance, playback, and UI/UX issues across platforms
• Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management best practices is a plus
• Exposure to Charles Proxy is a plus
• Exposure to GitHub or similar version control tools is a plus
