QA Engineer - Automation & Manual Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications
• Perform both manual and automated testing across different platforms and environments
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality assurance input during planning phases
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after updates
• Develop and maintain test documentation and testing procedures
• Report testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

• 1-2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience in creating detailed test cases and test documentation
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools and testing management systems
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools
• Understanding of web technologies and mobile application testing

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Basic understanding of programming languages for test automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integration testing

Soft Skills:

• English communication skills required - ability to communicate effectively with international team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities
• Team collaboration skills and willingness to learn new technologies
