Description

As an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Infor's innovative cloud solutions. Working closely with software engineers, business analysts, architects, product managers, and development managers, you will contribute to all phases of quality assurance, including test planning, automation, execution, defect management, and continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and modern testing frameworks, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

A Typical Day in the Life Includes

• Collaborate with business experts and stakeholders to analyze product requirements and formulate comprehensive test scenarios.
• Execute test scenarios and testing tasks while accurately reporting progress and status updates.
• Identify, document, track, and escalate defects and quality issues when necessary.
• Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize quality-related concerns.
• Continuously drive product quality improvements and contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in automated software testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as: Selenium, BDD/TDD frameworks, REST API Automation
• Strong knowledge of: Java, Rest Assured libraries, Other Java-based testing libraries
• Experience with: Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Web Services Automation
• Experience in API testing using Postman, SOAP, REST services
• Experience using IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Experience testing complex, large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience designing test strategies and test cases that mitigate risks and support requirement validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Context-based testing, Exploratory testing, Black-box testing, Scenario-based testing, Acceptance testing
• Experience collaborating effectively with development teams in Agile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute toward delivering excellent customer outcomes through quality-driven engineering practices.
