Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support testing activities across our applications. The role will focus mainly on manual testing with some exposure to automation.

As our QA Engineer, you will be required to:

• Write and execute manual test cases based on requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
• Work with developers and product teams to understand requirements
• Support basic automation testing efforts (good to have exposure)
• Perform basic API testing using Postman
• Assist with test data preparation and simple validation (SQL - basic level)
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings
• Share test results and defect updates with the team
• Follow QA processes and contribute to learning and improvements

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Basic understanding of test automation concepts (hands-on exposure is a plus, not mandatory)
• Good understanding of STLC and basic SDLC concepts
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman
• Basic understanding of SQL (simple queries for validation)
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
