Key Responsibilities
Analysesrequirements, builds, and risks to composetest scenarios and developacceptance/edge cases across UI, API, and performance layers ,
Completesregression/functional/integration testing ,
Identifiesdefects early and resolvesambiguity via clarification with Product/Engineering ,
Implementstest plans and initiatesimprovements to test data, evidence standards, and traceability to requirements ,
Collaborateswith developers to triage defects ,
Researchesroot causes and inventsclear, reproducible bug reports with strong evidence ,
Developsand implementsrisk ‑based regression strategies for releases,
Implementslessons learned to prevent defect recurrence
Handles diverse‑scopeproblems,
Provides mentorship on semi‑complex subjects to senior team members unfamiliar with QA,
Drives alignment in ceremonies and defect triage.
Qualifications:
proven experiencein software testing ,
Strong skills in test build techniques,exploratorytesting, and requirements analysis for manualtest coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on with TestRail/Jira (or comparable), API testing via Postman, basic SQL for data validation,
ISTQB Advanced (Test Analyst) or equivalent
