Job Title Lead Quality Engineering
The Purpose of This Role This role in Workplace Investing Quality Engineering group supports automation capability development including execution of automation roadmap building infrastructure and tools across multiple technology stacks following governance and development standards
The Value You Deliver Hands on role focused on developing automation solutions using modern technologies leading code reviews and enforcing coding standards Work closely with architects developers and business stakeholders to define QE strategy and mentor teams Design automation frameworks suited for applications Translate business and system requirements into automation solutions Design develop document and maintain automated tests and tools Follow software engineering principles in automation development Apply test driven design concepts to build and debug automation Deliver maintainable and high quality automation code Collaborate with technical teams to improve processes standards and best practices Develop automation tools understand requirements and enhance maintainability of automation platforms
The Expertise We Are Looking For 5 to 8 plus years experience in IT organization Strong UI testing skills using Playwright TypeScript JavaScript Strong API testing skills using Rest Assured and Java Experience with GitHub Copilot Good knowledge of Jenkins and JIRA Nice to have Oracle PLSQL
Role Expectations Apply leadership analytical problem solving and testing skills to improve software quality Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide delivery updates Participate in release cycles standups and support code reviews and design improvements Work with product and application teams for technology evaluation and configuration Build relationships with product managers architects and technical leads Recommend automation frameworks for scalability and faster delivery Provide mentoring training and guidance to team members Define end to end and regression testing strategy Bring cloud testing expertise Work in Agile environments Lead automation coverage and build CI CD pipelines for seamless delivery
