We are looking for a QA Engineerto join ourCambridge‑basedCAD / PLM engineering team, contributing to the quality and reliability of complex,cloud‑enabledproduct development platforms.

This role sits within a modern SaaS-oriented PLM environment, where CAD and PLM capabilities are delivered through scalable backend services, rich web-based user interfaces, andcloud‑nativeinfrastructure. You will work closely withfull‑stackengineers, frontend developers, and DevOps teams to ensure high quality across the entire solution.

Quality is treated as a shared responsibility, and this role is embedded directly within agile development teams.

WhatYou’llDo

• Design, execute, andmaintainmanual and automated testsfor CAD / PLM web applications

• Validate functionality across frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and data layers

• Test complex workflows typical of CAD / PLM domains(configuration, data integrity, performance, integration points)

• Contribute to and extend test automation frameworks(UI and API level)

• Collaborate closely with engineers working in TypeScript and Node.js(NestJS Express)

• Test frontend applications built with Angularand modern UI patterns

• Validate backend logic using ORMssuch as TypeORM, Prisma, or equivalent, and SQL databases

• Support testing in cloud‑nativeand containerized environments, including Kubernetes

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests are executed as part of build and deployment processes

• Perform regression, integration,exploratory, and acceptance testing

• Activelyparticipatein defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement discussions

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a QA Engineer / Software Test Engineerin a complex software environment

• Hands‑onexperience testing web‑basedSaaS platforms

• Strong experience with test automation(UI and/or API)

• Working knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

• Experience testing Node.js backend services(NestJS, Express, or similar frameworks)

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks, especially Angular

• Experience testing systems using ORMs(TypeORM, Prisma, or similar) and SQL-based databases

• Understanding of Agile / Scrumdevelopment methodologies

• Strong analytical,problem‑solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience testing CAD, PLM, or engineering software platforms

• Exposure to Kubernetesor containerized systems

• Experience working in DevOps‑leaningenvironments

• API testing experience (REST, JSON,OpenAPI)

• Experience withcloud‑hosted, scalable SaaSarchitectures
