Flo is the world’s #1 health & fitness app worldwide on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 – and we’re not slowing down.

Ambitious’, ‘innovative’, ‘highly product-focused’ - those are the words you’d hear if we were asked to describe our Engineering teams.

They focus on product, platform and the development of internal tools to bring the best experience to all of our customers.

Probably one of the most senior bunches of people in the company - on average, each one of our Engineers has over 7 years of experience!

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality solutions. As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive manual and automated test coverage across our products. Your role will be critical in maintaining system reliability, performance, and seamless user experiences.

  • Own end-to-end test planning, from scope definition to execution, ensuring consistent and reliable validation of features
  • Drive test automation with a focus on business impact and cost-efficiency, ensuring balanced coverage across the test pyramid and repeatable patterns
  • Proactively identify, prioritize, and communicate defects with clear, reproducible reports aligned with team standards
  • Leverage data analysis (e.g., SQL) to investigate issues, validate assumptions, and support quality decisions
  • Close the loop between production signals (crash analytics, non-fatals, user-impact metrics) and pre-release test design, contributing to incident postmortems
  • Act as a quality advocate within Agile teams, influencing processes to improve speed, predictability, and outcomes
  • Contribute to and elevate QA practices across the team, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Your Experience

Must have:

  • 5+ years in software quality assurance
  • Experience as a QA engineer working with backend technologies such as APIs, DBs (including SQL knowledge) and services
  • Experience with mobile platforms and ecosystems, iOS and Android

  • Being proactive in gathering non-functional requirements within the team and other departments
  • Excellent understanding of testing methodology in Agile product lifecycle
  • Positive thinking, quality orientation, reliability, ability to organize, exceptional attention to details
  • Good English level – both spoken and written

Nice to have:

  • Cross-browser, including mobile browsers and especially Facebook browser, testing with focus on page loading speed (First contentful paint, First Input Delay, server response time)
  • Experience in load testing
  • Understanding of A/B experimentation and its implication on testing strategy

How we work

We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar.

You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.

What you'll get

We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Competitive salary and annual reviews
  • Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme
  • Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave
  • Enhanced parental leave and pay for maternity, paternity, same-sex and adoptive parents
  • Accelerated professional growth through world-changing work and learning support
  • In-person collaboration and work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week spent in the office
  • 5-week fully paid sabbatical at 5-year Floversary
  • Flo Premium for friends & family, plus more health, pension and wellbeing perks
