We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the QA team - a dynamic and challenging role providing critical test layers to our products. A QA Engineer at Orca AI is responsible for managing test cycles - including new features STPs, regression and sanity tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases for hardware/software integration in simulated and real-world conditions.
  • Perform functional, regression, and sanity testing of applications, dashboards, and backend systems.
  • Verify that data collected from machines is correctly processed, displayed, and stored.
  • Document and track defects in Jira, ensuring accurate reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidence.
  • Collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain clear test documentation, including test plans, cases, and results.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and share feedback with the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manual QA experience in a hardware/software integration environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix command line operations.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, remote connections, and device monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of bug lifecycle management using Jira
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating across teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple test cycles in parallel.

Nice to Have

Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automating repetitive tasks.
