Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems, with a track record of delivering high-end, customized, cost-effective solutions for mission readiness. Our simulators are used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers across more than 40 sites worldwide.

We’re looking for a QA Automation Specialist to join our engineering team and take part in shaping Bagira’s next generation of innovative, cutting-edge simulation products.

You’ll help lay the foundations of our automation testing practices and continuously drive their evolution. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s proactive, collaborative, and excited to take ownership and become the go-to person for automation within the team.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in Modi'in.

Your mission:

• Automation Testing: Lead the automation testing strategy, from defining objectives to implementing best practices.
• Infrastructure from Scratch: Build the automation infrastructure from the ground up – tools, architecture, and environments.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and translate test strategies into automated scripts.
• Execution & Analysis: Run automated tests, analyze results, identify issues, and drive resolution.
• Framework Design: Design and maintain tailored automation frameworks, reusable components, libraries, and scripts.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and explore new tools and technologies to boost automation.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and help foster a culture of continuous learning within the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing in a software development environment
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, and scripting in Python
• Significant Experience with web and mobile testing
• Knowledge of API testing and integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach, and eagerness to take ownership
• Willingness to occasionally travel both within Israel and internationally
