This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automation Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a senior quality engineering role focused on ensuring the reliability and performance of high-usage digital applications. You will work extensively with mobile testing across Android and iOS, as well as API validation and end-to-end automation. The role combines hands-on testing with technical investigation, risk identification, and continuous quality improvement. You will validate complex application flows, payloads, integrations, and GraphQL contracts while supporting robust CI/CD practices. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will have significant autonomy to identify issues and propose effective solutions. Experience in large-scale retail, e-commerce, or high-traffic mobile environments will be especially valuable.

• Design and execute automated and manual tests for mobile applications across Android and iOS environments.
• Develop and maintain automation strategies for mobile applications and end-to-end user journeys.
• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and E2E testing to ensure application quality.
• Test REST and GraphQL APIs, including validation of GraphQL contracts and JSON payloads.
• Use tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent solutions to validate APIs and investigate issues.
• Work with mobile automation environments and Device Farm solutions to validate application behavior across devices and configurations.
• Support testing and deployment workflows using Bitrise, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate defects and unexpected behavior using logs and basic observability practices.
• Identify quality risks, analyze failures, and recommend practical solutions to improve product reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes, automation coverage, and overall quality practices.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer or in a comparable senior quality assurance role.
• Strong hands-on experience testing mobile applications, with knowledge of both Android and iOS.
• Experience testing applications built with React Native.
• Proven experience with REST and GraphQL API testing, including GraphQL contract validation.
• Strong understanding of JSON payload validation.
• Experience performing functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of mobile test automation and experience or familiarity with Device Farm environments.
• Experience with Bitrise and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools.
• Working knowledge of Git and software delivery pipelines.
• Basic understanding of application logs and observability.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify root causes and assess technical risks.
• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with large-scale projects, retail, e-commerce, or high-volume mobile applications is a strong advantage.
