WHAT WE OFFER

In this role, you will combine a detail-oriented approach with strong test automation engineering skills and a creative problem-solving mindset. You will plan, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of our Product Information Management (PIM) system.

As a key member of the PIM Team, you will collaborate closely with PIM Developers to gain a thorough understanding of the application’s features and architecture. You will develop and execute test cases to ensure that both the API and user interface are rigorously tested before each production release.

You will also work closely with PIM Application Experts to investigate and resolve critical operational incidents, using your analytical skills and coordinating across teams whenever necessary.

Your missions

  • Provide quality assurance and testing support to development teams, ensuring smooth and efficient product delivery.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to identify testing requirements, including inputs, outputs, response times, and error handling.
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute tests, analyze results, identify defects, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites and integrate them into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Provide regular reports on test results and quality metrics to team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Reduce the backlog of manual regression tests through effective automation.
  • Improve existing automation practices by incorporating industry best practices.
  • Actively review and enhance user stories and test cases to support continuous quality improvement.
  • Report and document technical issues, ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Execute performance tests, analyze the results, and identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with PIM Application Experts on QA-related operational matters.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have at least three years of experience in test automation.
  • You have strong programming skills for API testing, particularly with the REST Assured framework.
  • You have hands-on experience with Cucumber, Selenium, and Java.
  • You have a strong understanding of testing theory and the software development lifecycle.
  • You have experience working with MongoDB.
  • You are familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD technologies including Git and Jenkins.
  • You have experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Dynatrace would be an asset.
  • Experience with PIM solutions such as Stibo STEP or Akeneo would be an advantage.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
