Full-time | Hybrid: Once a week onsite | Night/Graveyard Shift

Responsible for the quality of the Nestlé corporate/brand website projects and functional quality of technical solutions provided by the Website Content Management team and the Tech team. QA Automation Engineer is responsible for providing effective test automation solutions within allocated timeframe, making sure that Project deliverables are of high-quality, containing fewer errors, are delivered faster and compliant with Market/Brand requirements. Follow the Testing process. Ensuring visibility and traceability of testing process for high-quality deliverables. Define the scope of testing within the context of each assigned project/task. Report the appropriate test measurements and metrics to the Testing Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
  • Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy.
  • Creating an automation test plan and getting approval.
  • Configuring selected environment(s) and automating the design of a framework(s), implementing as per the structure of the project.
  • Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases.
  • Collating and monitor the defect management process.
  • Managing the changes and executing regression tests.
  • Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
  • Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation.
  • Identifying specific cases that should be automated and discussing them with manual QA engineers.
  • Reporting on assigned projects/tasks to the QA Lead.
  • Developing the best automation solutions based on the clients’ requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, product marketing managers) to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow.
  • Participating in scheduled meetings with the Project team to define the sprint scope, review progress, and discuss issues when required.
  • Demonstrating continuous Improvement.

What will make you successful...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Upper-intermediate level of English
  • At least 3 years of professional QA experience in web-focused software environments
  • Extensive experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Cypress.io (or equivalent), including debugging complex issues and optimizing test performance
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, STLC, SDLC, and Agile delivery
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to generate or optimize test cases, test scripts, or test data
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal 9) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Java, C# or Python and the basics of SQL
  • Deep knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML
  • Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with ticketing and workflow tool
  • Persistant in getting to the root of the problem
  • Defining continuous improvement in daily activities
  • A team oriented mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance and resilience
  • Meeting deliverable requirements, service level agreements and specific targets
  • Ensuring good time management (including down time)
  • Good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times
  • Be familiar with Scrum, Agile development methodologies
  • Working in a corporate and multi-cultural environment
