Job Description

 QA Automation Engineer

Role Requirements
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (preferred).
  • Relevant automation tool certifications (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
Experience and Skills
  • 3+ years in QA automation or software development across multiple applications.
  • Proficient in scripting and coding.
  • Experience with automation tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • API and performance testing knowledge (Postman, JMeter).
  • Experience testing ERP or core business applications.
  • Exposure to performance and security testing tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC.
  • Knowledge of test case creation, defect tracking, and quality metrics.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Key Performance Areas
  • Define and maintain Automation Test Strategy and Coverage Metrics.
  • Ensure high script reliability and execution success rates.
  • Reduce manual test cycles through effective automation.
  • Identify and prevent regression issues early via automated testing.
  • Contribute to automation framework improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete test documentation.
  • Deliver timely test results and sign-offs.
  • Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
  • Design, write, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and risks.
  • Ensure new software integrations meet functional and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present testing reports.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
