Job Description


The client
is seeking a candidate capable of reducing an existing QA backlog without a
prolonged onboarding period. The job goes beyond manual testing: it involves
converting an existing test case library to Gherkin/Cucumber scenarios, as well
as lightweight and targeted backend automation. The fixed-price context means
the candidate must deliver with minimal supervision, excluding profiles
requiring mentoring or a learning curve. The term "immediately applicable
expertise" indicates an expectation of productivity from the outset,
without a learning curve. The role therefore combines writing BDD scenarios and
technical automation, distinguishing this profile from a traditional manual
tester.


We are looking for someone who can: quickly contribute to
reducing QA backlogs; convert an existing library of manual test cases to
Gherkin/Cucumber scenarios; participate in lightweight and targeted backend
test automation; work with minimal supervision in a fixed-price project
context; provide immediately applicable expertise to reduce the team's workload
rather than requiring significant support.
