What you will be doing:
Responsible for understanding functional areas and their interdependencies to ensure effective testing.
Take ownership of testing artifacts, including designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on acceptance criteria.
Implement and maintain a Master Test Matrix across clients, and individual Test Matrices per client, updating them with new developments and enhancements.
Produce test documents for different test types, such as Unit Testing, API/Services Testing, QA Testing, and Regression Testing.
Report and track defects found during testing and work with software engineers to resolve them.
Stay updated on new developments, industry regulations, testing trends, and tools, actively identify process improvements, and share knowledge about functionality changes.
Support Client Service Managers (CSMs) with functionality and configuration, and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, CSMs, Software Engineers, and regression teams.
Actively participate in Sprint Planning by understanding expected testing outcomes, providing estimations, updating test scenarios, and offering input for project planning.
Create test documentation that can serve as reference or training material.
What our client is looking for:
A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
A minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated software testing or Quality Assurance experience.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with various testing methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
Demonstrated ability to perform API/Services Testing and a strong understanding of integration points and data flow between enterprise systems.
Excellent analytical skills required for effective root-cause analysis and complex troubleshooting.
Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly to both business stakeholders and engineers.
Familiarity with modern defect tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
