Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Structural Steel Detailer to oversee the team by reviewing Tekla models and fabrication drawings for accuracy, quality, and constructability before submission to the Australian team. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and improving team workflows and standards.



Salary Range: PHP 75,000 – 85,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Review and check Tekla models and fabrication drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Identify modelling errors, clashes, and constructability issues, and ensure they are resolved before drawings are issued.
• Ensure drawings meet fabrication and project requirements
• Review connections, welds, bolting, and general steel detailing standards
• Coordinate with the drafting and engineering teams to resolve issues
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior detailers and drafters
• Help improve workflows, quality control, and team processes
• Communicate clearly with the Australian team regarding drawing reviews and revisions
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of structural steel detailing experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on Tekla experience
• Strong understanding of fabrication and workshop processes
• Previous experience in a senior checker, lead detailer, or similar role
• Experience mentoring or leading drafting/detailing teams
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, connections, welds, and bolting
• Ability to identify and resolve detailing and constructability issues
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Australian project experience is preferred but not essential
