Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Credit Controller (ARCC) is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable functions. This includes supervising debtor management, setting up new customers, managing cash collections, liaising with customers, and ensuring accurate data entry and filing. The ARCC will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in credit control, risk assessment, and financial reporting.

Salary Range: 40,000 - 50,000
Work Set-up Arrangement: Onsite | Dayshift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate collections
• Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures.
• Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Liaise with internal departments and external customers to resolve payment issues.
• Prepare monthly reports on receivables and credit risk.
• Support annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Train and mentor junior accounts receivable staff.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle escalated disputes and negotiate payment arrangements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong knowledge of Excel
• Experience in the use of Pronto ERP software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and integrity
• Adaptability and resilience under pressure
