Job Description

To provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, bookkeeping records, sales data, payroll and more. 

Salary Range: 35,000 - 45,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling all balance sheet accounts and preparing comprehensive financial reports.
• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Prepares and reviews Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Compiling income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
• Summarizes current the organizations financial status by collecting information.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents thoroughly.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing accounting information.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Performs other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required

Requirements:

• Strong experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Experience in Australian accounting and tax preparation BAS or Income Tax Returns.
• Proficient in MYOB and/or other accounting software.
• Must have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Can deal with complexity and has strong analytical skills.
• Keen to details, confidentiality, and thoroughness towards the work.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
