Job Description

Key purpose:

You'll be responsible for building the backend of our new product. You'll work with a team to build the back end in Python using Django and AngularJS. You should have experience developing software that uses Django or similar frameworks, as well as some HTML5/CSS3 skills, especially related to responsive web design (mobile first).

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Interacts with Python client applications to extract and generate data for processin.
  • Collaborates with clients to ensure information is structured and delivered in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Develops and maintains code that gets deployed into production.
  • Writes clean, reusable, and effective code.
  • Continuously refactors code to remove redundancies and improve performance.
  • Ensures the application works as intended when deployed to production.
  • Evaluates requirements and uses analytics to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Three years of experience as a web developer in Python preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a developer with a strong background in Python and C#.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have an aptitude for software development.
