Job Description


Job Title:
Solar PV Construction Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Construction Manager to oversee the technical aspects of solar project construction. The role includes managing construction phases, quality control, and commissioning, culminating in the handover of all relevant project documentation. The manager will also contribute to business development by enhancing operational efficiencies and may assist in designing renewable energy systems on an ad hoc basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and maintain construction timelines

  • Manage subcontractor scopes and ensure quality installation standards

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on-site

  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and internal technicians

  • Implement construction according to mechanical and electrical engineering designs

  • Participate in the physical installation of solar PV systems as needed

  • Address operations and maintenance issues for ongoing service agreements

  • Develop tools and documents for the department

  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards during construction

  • Provide feedback for continual improvement in engineering practices

  • Assist in project handover to the operations and maintenance department


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management within the renewable energy sector

  • In-depth knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
