We are seeking a skilled and motivated PV and Storage Renewable Energy Trainee to provide technical and business development support throughout all phases of solar PV and storage projects.
This role will be involved in giving support during the technical due diligence reports, design reviews, and supporting the preparation of technical and financial offers for private and multilateral clients.
Functions and responsibilities:
Support to Senior Engineering team in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development and review for Renewable Energy Plants (solar PV and CSP, wind, mini-hydraulic and BESS), providing technical support in all project phases: project development, engineering design, construction, and commissioning, as part of the technical advisory and owners’ engineer and team, including the following tasks:
- Support in Technical Due Diligence and Lender Technical Advisor reports, technology
evaluation, Operation & Maintenance, etc.
- Support in Engineering review, including the technical revision and approval of the main
project design engineering documentation (Owner’s Engineering).
Work location:
OCA Global offices in Sevilla Work will be developed office based and for all projects implemented by OCA Global worldwide (mainly Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, and Pacific) as the activity of the Business Unit is global.
Education requirements:
- BSC in any relevant Engineering.
- MSC in Renewable Energy would be favourably considered.
Experience:
No experience required.
Languages:
- Spanish: Native or full professional proficiency
- English: Minimum Advanced ideal C-1 or full professional proficiency
- French would be favourably considered
Other personal competencies:
- Efficient communication, meeting organization and reporting
- Proactivity and flexibility
- Efficient problem resolution
- Knowledge and experience in software like PVSyst, Windpro will be valued
- Level Expert in MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
