Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is looking for a Pursuit Specialist to join the Preconstruction team for the West Division! In this role, you will be pivotal in strengthening our project pursuits by collaborating with Preconstruction, Accounting, and Construction teams. Your focus will be on providing support to ensure smooth and organized processes, offering top-notch customer service, and maintaining consistency throughout the pursuit and preconstruction phase. From kickstarting pursuits to seamlessly transitioning into project execution, you'll play a key part in driving efficiency and maintaining a client-centered approach.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of proven experience in an administrative support role. Strong organizational skills are required to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy is also required.

Some things that you can expect to do:

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in relevant systems and databases.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the point of contact and facilitate communication between departments, regions, and sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Provide administrative support to pursuit leaders.
  • Create and update pursuit information and align data as directed across technology platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Join, Destini Estimator, TradeTapp, BuildingConnected, Procore, and Ryan’s Project Hub.
  • Initiate trade partner prequalification invitations, review precursory documents for accuracy, and partner with Prequalification Analysts on a timely and proactive approach to qualifications.
  • Facilitate project number creation and manage awareness and access for necessary team members.
  • Provide estimate creation support and associated administrative tasks such as document organization and distribution.
  • Support trade partner outreach and the bidding process by contacting bidders to confirm participation, keeping bidder lists current, and assisting with activities in BuildingConnected.
  • Assist in early contract creation, invoice processing, and document management.
  • Procore permit task establishment.
  • Manage billing systems such as Textura and Nexus during the pursuit phase.
  • Support project teams with their Join projects.
  • Close out lost pursuits including archiving data and documents across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from pursuit to project execution team.

Compensation:

The base pay range is $36.24 - $42.82 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
