Daikin Manufacturing Poland Sp. z o.o. (DMPO) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd. and the leading provider of heating, cooling, ventilation, air purification, and refrigeration technology. Responsibility for:

• Fullfilling the tasks based on instruction and in defined scope & term
• Proposing of possible improvements into daily job
• Possible optimization of working procedures welcome
• Give advices to colleagues on „stuff“ position. Be good example! Cooperation with colleagues from other departments
• Fullfilling tasks based on the systems ISO for which is company certified (system quality, Environmental Management System, safety of work etc..)
• Keeping rules of EMS, Safety & health and Fire protection in scope of rules defined by internal measures

Based on assigment:

• Development: Securing parts and materials based on new project schedules and related activities. Evaluating new price quotations for new projects, proposing allocations (sourcing) of new parts based on definied purchase strategy. Active approache in searching for new materials, technologies and suppliers in order to optimize newly developing products. Regularly communicate with memebres of other departements in order to coordinate activites for succesfull finalization of new product.
• Cost Down: Actively searching for opportunities for cost optimization – price negotiation, unification, changes of design and material specifications in scope of her/his commodity assignment, cost optimization of running products. Cooperation with colleagues and members of other company departments in order to achieve company goals. Building up and secure good relationship with suppliers. Cooperation on defining purchase strategies and its fullfilling. Cooperation with members of other Daikin companies about purchase strategies.
• Compliancy: Execute activity on ensuring that all the process with supplier is compliant with CSR (Company Social Responsibility).

General:

• Securing, creating and arranging approvals and distribution of relevant documents, invoices etc..
• Regular meetings with suppliers and other departments members in DMPO and other Daikin companies.

Requirements:

• Master university degree
• Experience in purchasing operational area - preferred in the international manufacturing environment
• Experience in master data area - added value, focus on development in this area
• English C1 (Advanced) or upper level
• PC: Advanced (very good user knowledge fo MS Office, mainly Excel)
• Group B Driving licence
• SAP system knowledge
• Polish importing/exporting regulations & local business regulation with suppliers - nice to have
• Strong analytical & comminucation skills
