MidwayUSA, in Columbia, MO is a privately held eCommerce company in the Outdoor industry. We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist for our Ammunition & Re-loading category who will work with a Merchandising Manager to serve our Customers by purchasing products and building relationships with our Suppliers. About the Role

• Responsible for all Purchase Order management, in alignment with the Merchandising & Company strategies through the life cycle of the purchase order.
• Meet and negotiate with Suppliers to develop opportunities, obtain product or service information and manage delivery schedules
• Participate in Promotions planning and implementation
• Assist the Merchandising Manager with analysis and management of Inventory
• Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement

About You

• You will have 1-3 years’ experience in a position requiring attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field is required
• You are a user of MidwayUSA's core products
• You have excellent product and technical knowledge
• You have a positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve our processes
• Finally, a person who is a great fit with our Culture and Values, and who has an active interest in the outdoor/sporting industry.

• Annual Salary Range (commensurate with experience): $55,000-$71,500 with annual benchmarking and pay increases to always ensure a competitive salary
