Job Description

The successful candidate should be a self-starter, who is proactive, self-efficient and has a drive to learn about procurement in the IT industry. The individual must be comfortable working in a very fast paced, busy environment in the rapidly growing monitoring & managed services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Creates high volume of purchase orders, change orders and invoice resolution within predetermined service level agreements
  • Works closely with Procurement personnel and other ECI business units to support purchase order lifecycle
  • Manage purchase request intake process and supporting tools.
  • Exhibits excellent customer service skills.
  • Implementation and further development of the organizations’ hardware and software maintenance renewals processes
  • Work with the Purchasing team to manage support contracts and license agreements
  • Validates pricing and works to obtain additional discounting
  • Generate monthly cloud billing reports
  • Work with Technical Architecture teams, CSMs, and CTMs to generate customer quotes
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with Distributor and Vendor teams

Requirements:

  • Computer Skills; Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge
  • Experience with ConnectWise Sell, ConnectWise Manage, and Microsoft Great Plains preferred
  • Experience with vendor tools such as Cisco CCW ideal
  • College Degree
  • 2+ years of experience working in a distributor (Ingram Micro, CDW, Comstor, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in working with hardware/software vendor support contracts and renewals
  • Commitment to task, detail oriented and organized, reliable and dependable.
