The Lead NPI / Advanced Procurement role is responsible for driving sourcing activities for new product introductions (NPI) projects, ensuring cost, quality, and timing objectives are met. This position acts as a strategic link between Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Global Category teams, aligning cost targets, sourcing strategies, and supplier performance to enable successful product launches. The role combines strategic vision with operational execution, influencing global supply chain decisions, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Your Impact
Define and align target costs with Finance and Global Category Managers, ensuring feasibility and consistency with benchmarks. Drive adherence to cost targets for all new products at production readiness.
Develop and maintain a master component sourcing schedule, including RfX, negotiations, awards, and PPAP milestones. Coordinate NPI component sourcing strategies aligned with global objectives to meet cost, quality, and timing goals.
Monitor project maturity and escalate unresolved gaps to leadership.
Manage procurement workflows, including approvals for sourcing recommendations, requisitions, and purchase orders.
Facilitate technical collaboration between Engineering and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or heavy equipment industries
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and financial analysis skills. Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and leadership skills, Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment, Project management.
Fluent in English & Knowledge in Project Development PMO
