Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Purchasing planner – buyer. In this position, you will implement and support cost strategies for divisional business growth, reporting to Site Purchasing Manager.

Job Location:

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana SpA is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. Currently, around 300 employees work at the Borgaro Torinese -Italy.

What you will be doing:

  • To manage material planning and procurement activities in line with production requirements and inventory targets.
  • To manage supplier relationships, including order execution, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
  • To manage purchase orders, confirmations, and follow‑up to ensure continuity of supply.
  • To understand and identify supply risks, demand variability, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • To manage cross‑functional coordination with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in procurement or planning.
  • Excellent knowledge of material planning processes, procurement principles, and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Good attitude in dealing with issues and requests from Top Managers.
  • Good motivation to master new major challenges.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and good interpersonal and communication abilities.
