Introducing 25hours Hotel The Olympia, which opened in the vibrant Sydney suburb of Paddington. Housed within the iconic West Olympia Theatre, the hotel features 109 rooms, multiple dining spaces including The Palomar restaurant, Jacob the Angel café, and Monica, the roof-top bar. A new era awaits at 25hours Hotel The Olympia which will shape and transform the local hospitality scene, welcoming a vibrant and diverse team, bringing its vision to life.

The Purchasing Officer makes sure every department has the supplies and resources they need to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. They also work closely with the Operations Managers and Department Managers to take care of admin tasks and keep processes organised.

What your day might look like...

  • Perform Purchasing and Inventory Management function

  • Follow Internal Control Policies and Procedures, and assist the Director of Finance to ensure all departments compliance

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism, integrity, and warmth

  • Support all departments’ project involving services and goods tendering

  • Support other finance, accounts and purchasing tasks when required

Qualifications

What we’re looking for...

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally in hospitality or a similar industry;

  • A confident communicator who likes systems, and staying organised;

  • A team player who is reliable, trustworthy, and proactive under pressure;

  • Knowledge and experience with Purchase Plus and any other purchasing system is ideal.
