Job Description
Our client is a HK based independent distributor of electronic components
Responsibilities:
- Handle internal RFQ and provide input to determine quoted cost to the customer that is competitive.
- Analyze and reduce components purchase price to meet the cost reduction goal.
- Monitoring, tracking and providing feedbacks on suppliers performance on overall cost, delivery, and quality.
- Understanding suppliers, their capabilities, market trending and technologies for assigned commodities.
- Managing commercial relationships with vendors.
- Purchase ordering and follow-up on schedule update.
- Coordinate with sales team.
- Handle internal and external reports.
Requirements
- Over 5 years experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing and suppliers network in electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic component and EMS industry.
- High competency level in use of MS Office.
- SAP and other CRM systems knowledge is preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin); knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
- Travel may be required internationally to visit suppliers.
