
What you will do:
The Purchasing Intern will be a member of the Purchasing team within the Procurement department, supporting the team in the completion of activities within the request to purchase order process.
This internship is the perfect opportunity for a person willing to gain professional experience in Procurement, including learning the ServiceNow, Oracle and Scout/Workday Sourcing tools.
The main responsibilities include responding to stakeholders in the ServiceNow ticket management tool, performing changes on Purchase Orders in the Oracle system, various ad hoc tasks provided by the Analysts.
The nature of the department will also allow the selected candidates to get exposure to compliance ensuring activities, such as checking potential purchases against vendor contracts, allowing the person to gain valuable experience in this area.
Procure to Pay process support
Provide answers and solutions to end users via the ServiceNow ticketing system, emails, Teams chat, and calls.
Issue Purchase Orders in Oracle
Support ad hoc requests from Purchasing Analysts and Purchasing manager
Internal documentation and continuous improvement
Review the internal documentation while performing the tasks, to ensure the accuracy of the process description, and make corrections or suggestions as needed
Escalation of system technical issues and process issues
Work with the team members to address technical issues and process issues on time and provide a solution to the customer with the support of the team
Required Skills:
Professional fluency in English
Comfortable working with customers including verbal and written communication
Attention to detail
Microsoft Excel intermediate or above skills
Eagerness to learn and willingness to challenge the status quo
Ability to navigate in a multitasking environment
Communicative, organized, and accountable
An international and inclusive mindset
Additional Employment Conditions
We offer a paid internship program (12 months) with 32 hours of internship per week.
An hourly rate is 31,40 PLN.
Please note that the role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
