Join H.B. Fuller as a Purchasing Intern and support the procurement of raw materials and packaging components for manufacturing operations across North America. In this role, you will help maintain material availability, coordinate supplier deliveries, and support inventory management activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and continuous production support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze material requirements using MRP systems.

  • Create and manage purchase orders through receipt.

  • Monitor supplier deliveries and expedite orders when needed.

  • Process returns and claims for damaged materials in SAP.

  • Resolve procurement, delivery, and master data discrepancies.

  • Coordinate material receipts with warehouse and receiving teams.

  • Support inventory adjustments impacting replenishment plans.

  • Arrange logistics and warehouse transfers across facilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

  • Experience using ERP, procurement, or business systems through coursework, projects, or internships.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Authorization to work in the location of employment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous internship, academic project, or coursework in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.

  • Familiarity with SAP, MRP, or inventory management systems.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
