Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications
Track order status to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues
Evaluate market trends and alternative materials to drive cost-saving initiatives
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier documentation
Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry regulations
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
2-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or site project
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Familiar with procurement software and ERP systems
Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications is a plus
Good organizational and time management abilities
