Company Background:
Our client is a Malaysia-based food manufacturing company specializing in bakery and pastry products. The company provides Halal-certified OEM solutions, offering a wide range of products from raw dough to ready-to-serve items. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and food safety, our client supports businesses in the food and hospitality industry by delivering consistent and efficient production solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for products, materials, and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, supplier information, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requirements.
• Handle supplier performance evaluation, pricing comparison, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, or supply discrepancies.
• Convert purchase orders to Purchase Invoice in AutoCount system.
• Monitor supplier outstanding balances and reconcile creditor statements.
• Prepare purchasing reports and support budgeting activities.
• Ensure purchased products and materials meet quality and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Familiar with AutoCount, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with good time management skills.

Salary Range: RM4000 - RM7000
