We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage inventory and medical supplies.

About the Role

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring our facility is well stocked with the necessary supplies to operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day procurement of medical supplies, office materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Orders (POs): Track and manage purchase orders accurately and promptly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
• Receiving & Distribution: Coordinate the receipt of deliveries, verify order accuracy, and assist with distribution to appropriate departments.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date purchasing records, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience (1-2 years preferred) in central supply, purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, ideally in a healthcare setting.
• Skills: Proficiency with purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in processing data.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attributes: Dependable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with staff across all departments (Nursing, Administration, Dietary, etc.).
