Job Description

Coordinates purchasing and pricing information management of processes, including but not limited to: costing, ensuring system data integrity, mediating field/trade communications, and assisting in the development of housing budgets.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Duties may also include procurement and analysis of bids/pricing from the Brohn vendor base for both new and existing products including all associated data entry and maintenance.
  • Change order/selection sheet processing, prepare start pack materials, including blueprints, plot plans etc.
  • Analyze and compare various vendor pricing
  • Analyze takeoff requests from field area managers.
  • Data Entry and Maintenance for all Brohn budgetary items.
  • Perform ongoing detailed cost analysis across entire Brohn Product Line
  • Work with Brohn vendor base on all product changes
  • Analyze reports to identify improvements for costing purposes.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be analytical and have data analyst skillset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Attention to detail, while seeing the overall objective.
  • Ability to plan and organize.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Current personal computer knowledge
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate with immediate team members and across departments.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude with experience and proficiency in working with numbers.
  • Ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.
  • Ability to function effectively and positively within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be team-oriented and motivated.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt employee is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Days and hours of work are [Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.] This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.

Travel: Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
