Job Description

  • Handle end-to-end procurement activities related to fabrication materials and components
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and stores teams for material planning
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delays
  • Analyse cost structures and support cost optimization initiatives
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and MIS reports

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Good knowledge of fabrication processes and materials
  • Sound costing and cost analysis knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in SAP (SEP) or similar ERP systems
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Industry Preference: Fabrication / Manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience in procurement within a fabrication or manufacturing setup
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure situations
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
