About the job

  • Support the procurement of food, beverage, operational, and non-operational supplies in line with hotel purchasing procedures.
  • Source products, obtain competitive quotations, and maintain accurate supplier, product, and pricing records.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and outstanding purchase orders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Produce monthly reports on supplier performance, purchasing activity, and outstanding deliveries.
  • Liaise daily with operational departments, Goods Receiving, and Accounts Payable to ensure orders, deliveries, and documentation are processed accurately.
  • Review pricing variations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budget and cost-control initiatives.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, product evaluations, and the identification of new suppliers and products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, supplier developments, and hospitality industry best practices.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
