Your mission, roles and responsibilities

To support our activities, we are looking for a Program Purchasing Apprentice to join our R&D Center in Bavans, ideally located just 15 minutes from Montbéliard, 30 minutes from Belfort, and close to the Swiss border.

Our Bavans R&D Center, which employs nearly 700 people, is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that contribute to safer, cleaner, and more sustainable mobility.

• Contribute to supplier selection from the approved supplier panel: participate in supplier identification and consultation, and support the management of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in line with the supplier panel defined by Commodity Buyers.
• Support supplier negotiations alongside the Commodity Buyer and participate in the final supplier selection process, including the preparation of sourcing committees, analyses, meeting minutes, and related documentation.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance throughout the project phase by tracking costs against targets, ensuring the quality of deliverables, monitoring adherence to timelines, and preparing reviews within the Project Management System (PMS).
• Contribute to coordination with Serial Purchasing Buyers to facilitate their early involvement before the transition to the production phase
• Support the management of specific suppliers on behalf of the project team, according to project requirements and customer requests.
• Assist the team in managing and negotiating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Purchasing, Engineering, or Business Administration (a professional Purchasing certification would be an asset).

• A first experience in purchasing is preferred.

• Strong command of English (minimum B1, Ideally C1) and excellent analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong team spirit, proactive mindset, curiosity, and results-oriented approach. #JTS
