Working with both local and international manufacturers, you’ll support the procurement of finished goods, components, and packaging across cosmetics, beauty, health, and wellness. This role plays a critical part in ensuring supply continuity, maintaining accurate master data, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement across purchasing processes and systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle in the ERP system, from PO creation through to goods receipt.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to ensure timely delivery and proactively resolve issues relating to payments, materials, production, and logistics.
- Monitor purchase order status, identifying and escalating risks, delays, or supply issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing purchasing processes, reporting, SOPs, and system efficiencies.
- Maintain accurate supplier and master data, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and key supplier information.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in purchasing, replenishment, procurement, or supply chain operations, ideally within an FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control, with experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office Suite, with high attention to detail and a structured, process-driven approach.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline are highly regarded; Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean language skills are advantageous.
Benefits
- Exclusive employee discounts via the DBG Health Employee Shop, including MCoBeauty, Esmi Skin Minerals, Nude by Nature, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Chemist's Own and more.
- Acacia EAP Wellbeing Support, providing confidential 24/7 counselling, mental health support, financial coaching, and manager assistance.
- Join a values-driven, supportive, and friendly culture within a dynamic, fast-growing business that actively promotes professional development and internal mobility.
- Enjoy the ability to work autonomously in an empowering environment that supports ownership, accountability and personal success.
- Access to the Bastas Academy for Health Leadership (via Melbourne Business School), supporting emerging and senior leaders with industry-leading programs, coaching, and development.
- DBG Health Leadership Academy, offering structured leadership development, mentoring, and clear career progression pathways.
