Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent & Inventory Manager to lead procurement and material control for our active construction operations in Turks & Caicos. This role is the link between our project teams, our suppliers, and the job site - responsible for translating drawings and specifications into accurate material orders, executing purchase orders, expediting shipments to the island, and managing the flow of materials from receipt through final delivery to the field.

As this is a remote island location with long material lead times and limited local supply, this position is critical to keeping projects on schedule and on budget. The successful candidate will live full-time on island and work closely with project management, estimating, logistics, and site superintendents.

Required

• Demonstrated experience in construction purchasing, estimating support, or material management (open to candidates ranging from solid mid-level to senior; experience matters more than years).
• Proven ability to perform takeoffs from architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong working knowledge of construction materials, building products, and common construction specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with web-based purchasing, accounting, or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Procore, Sage, Buildertrend, or similar).
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and written communication skills; able to manage dozens of open POs without losing track of details.
