Purchaser – Innovative Manufacturing & Clean Technology Industry

We are currently looking for a Purchaser for an exciting consulting assignment through Sourcian Partner. In this role, you will join an international and technology-driven organization operating within advanced manufacturing and clean tech solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and wants to work closely with supply chain, sourcing, production, quality and engineering teams.

The assignment is initially offered as a consultancy role employed by Sourcian Partner, with the possibility of long-term extension and potential employment directly with the client over time.

Your responsibilities

• Manage daily operational purchasing activities for an assigned supplier portfolio

• Monitor and improve replenishment parameters to ensure timely purchasing and material availability

• Ensure high parts availability while optimizing inventory levels

• Proactively resolve supply chain and delivery-related issues

• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in ERP systems and Excel

• Build strong supplier relationships and follow up on delivery performance

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as sourcing, production, quality and R&D

• Track supplier performance and escalate supply risks when necessary

• Negotiate MOQ’s, pricing and tactical costs such as freight and service fees

• Contribute to continuous improvements within purchasing processes and supply chain operations

We believe you have

• At least 3-5 years of experience within operational purchasing, procurement or supply chain

• Experience from manufacturing, industrial or production-oriented environments

• Good understanding of ERP/business systems and inventory management

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience handling supplier discussions and commercial negotiations

• Understanding of logistics flows and Incoterms

• Strong multitasking ability and capability to manage a high volume of transactions

• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with data analysis

• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience from Odoo or similar ERP systems

• Academic background within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields
